Automatic Hard-Facing Machine Operator

Purpose: 

Hardface machine operators run hardfacing material onto prepared materials.   After a training period with an experienced operator, the operator will expected to be able to set up the machine to run a wide variety of parts 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Operate automatic hardfacing  machines with efficiency and adherence to quality control procedures 

• Learn to set up machines for the variety of parts required 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED with emphasis on vocational skills 

• Demonstrate basic math, print reading and communication skills 

• Previous welding experience or current vocational training in welding skills is preferred
